The International Theosophical Centre is the home of the Theosophical Society in Europe.

The Centre is located approximately 20 km from Amsterdam close to the town Naarden. The grounds consist of 15 hectares beautiful woods and gardens with the original old mansion St Michaels House located in the middle.

Apart from theosophical activities the Centre is also used by other meditative organisations such as yoga schools, Buddhist groups, and Sufis.

Any stay at the centre is meant to promote quietness of mind, peace and a harmonious life.

Klinik Mitra is situated in one of the quiet streets of central Frederiksberg in Copenhagen in an old soulful building with a tiny backyard close to Søerne. It is home to a community of therapists and teachers and also rented out to groups working within the fields of personal development, mindfulness and movement.

Phendeling is a Tibetan Buddhist Centre situated at the heart of Copenhagen within walking distance from Nørreport Station. The Centre welcomes everyone with an interest in Buddhist teachings to talks, seminars study groups and retreats.

Seaton Sluice Community Centre, a community-owned building housed in a former primary school since 1971, is a beacon of community spirit. The dedicated volunteers who manage the centre were honoured with the prestigious Kings Award for Voluntary Service in 2023.

Ample off-road parking ensures convenience for visitors, while free Wi-Fi throughout the building enhances accessibility and connectivity. Seminarhaus Engl veranstaltet buddhistische Seminare, die Menschen im Westen die Möglichkeit geben, die Lehre des Buddha vom Leiden und seinen Ursachen, und vom Weg zur Beendgung des Leidens kennen zu lernen und zu vertiefen. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, in Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit Herz und Geist in der Meditation zu erforschen und zu schulen. Die in der buddhistischen Praxis gewonnenen Einsichten können zu Befreiung führen, zu mehr Achtsamkeit und Mitgefühl zum Wohle aller Wesen.

About "Haus Engl"
Seminarhaus Engl e.V. is a non-profit organization that was founded 1990 to offer retreats from different Buddhist traditions. We were inspired and encouraged by Sylvia Wetzel and Fred von Allmen. We want to help that attitudes like compassion, tolerance and insight get more attention in our society. Seminarhaus Engl as a place of practice, retreat and meeting should not be an island, but a bridge to a life with meaning right in our time.

The Coach House is a new venue in the grounds of Sharpham House. 

It was converted to accommodation in 2021. It is a Grade 2 listed building with four wings that surround an enclosed private courtyard. 

The Coach House is designed to operate as a separate centre.

All heating and hot water systems are run entirely on an environmentally-friendly biomass wood chip boiler, making The Coach House cosy and comfy. There are two large solar-panel arrays on the Estate and use biodegradable cleaning products wherever possible. The Sharpham garden uses organic practices.

The food in The Coach House is vegetarian and sourced, wherever possible, from their kitchen garden. 

The Sharpham Estate farms produce award-winning wines and cheese as well as organic eggs, meat and vegetables.

St Luke’s is a modern Community Centre which offers a range of flexible events spaces, perfect for our weekend courses. St Luke’s takes pride in keeping its Centre well-decorated and clean. It is located just off Old Street, EC1, close to the City of London and three tube stations – Old Street, Barbican and Angel.

The Kairos Centre is located at Mount Angelus Rd, Roehampton, London SW15 4JA. It is just off Danebury Avenue from Roehampton Lane (A306) which runs between Hammersmith Bridge and Kingston Rd (A3). The Kairos Centre is a five minute walk from Roehampton Village. Note: Danebury Ave can only be accessed from Roehampton Lane and not Priory Lane by car.

By air

The nearest Airport is Heathrow but you can take ‘Gatwick Express’ train from Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station and then take bus 170 to Mount Angelus Road.
