The Dhammapada is perhaps the most beloved of all Buddhist texts. In language that is poetic, rich and profound, it gathers together the core teachings of the Buddha. It is a collection of teachings that speak not only to meditative development but how to navigate a challenging world with deep embodied understanding and compassion. It is an inspirational text, revealing life as it is and the possibilities we have within us for responding skilfully to this life with all its joys and sorrows. In this third programme on the Dhammapada we will be reflecting on chapters that have not been covered in the first two programmes.

Each module in this programme will begin with Christina and Antonia reflecting upon a chapter within the text. The sessions will include an opportunity to reflect upon the teaching in small peer groups and time for questions.

This is a standalone programme, and it is entirely possible to attend this course without having attended the first two programmes on this theme. If you would like to listen to the first Dhammapada programme, it is available as self-study here. The second programme on the Dhammapada will be available as self-study later in 2025

Schedule: 

5 Thursday evening modules from 6 to 8 pm UK time, on December 4th, 11th, 18th 2025 and January 15th and 22nd 2026. 

Recordings:

Since this is not a progressing course and sessions don't need to be attended in the 'right' order, the recordings will be shared in a bundle at the end of the course.
